The prayer intentions of the Pope express the challenges of our world and offers a way to move people to action. The intentions are not just intellectual ideas or mere words, they are a call to live our faith in daily life by joining action to our prayers. Each intention presents to us a challenge that gives purpose to the month.

Daily Offering Prayer
God, our Father, I offer You my day. I offer You my prayers, thoughts, words, actions, joys, and sufferings in union with the Heart of Jesus, who continues to offer Himself in the Eucharist for the salvation of the world. May the Holy Spirit, Who guided Jesus, be my guide and my strength today so that I may witness to your love. With Mary, the mother of our Lord and the Church, I pray for all Apostles of Prayer and for the prayer intentions proposed by the Holy Father this month. Amen.

At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith.Yo u, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas –we who are put to the test –and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
