On July 26, 2016, the Vincentians celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Congregation of the Mission in the United States. It was on July 26, 1816 that Felix De Andreas, CM and twelve other missionaries landed in Baltimore, Maryland. Bound for St. Louis, Missouri, the brave missionaries faced many perils to bring the Word of God to the people living on the frontier. The Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians), the priests who serve this parish, have a long history of serving the needs of the Church in America.
